Our Sermon today explores how King Hezekiah inherited a spiritually broken kingdom from his father Ahaz, who had shut down temple worship and filled Judah with idolatry. Rather than continuing this destructive pattern, Hezekiah chose to "restart the system" - reopening the temple, restoring worship, and placing God back at the center of the nation's life. His story reminds us that our family's legacy can change with our choices today. We are not trapped by the patterns we inherited, whether they are blessings we might squander or burdens we can break. Through trust, faithfulness, and obedience, we can chart a new course that honors God and impacts generations to come.
