The sermon explores Jesus' final instructions to His disciples before His ascension, specifically His command to "be my witnesses in Jerusalem." While the disciples' Jerusalem was a literal city, our Jerusalem is the life God has placed us in—our families, neighborhoods, workplaces, and church community. Just as the early church began their world-changing ministry right where they were, we too are called to love and lead people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus in our everyday environments. This isn't about adding more to our plates; it's about waking up to the mission God has already placed us in.
