Overflow || From Grace to Generosity || Jan 18 2026

The sermon explores 2 Corinthians 8:1-9, examining what it truly means to experience overflow in our lives. Rather than defining overflow as simply having more possessions, money, or resources, we discover that genuine overflow flows from God's grace working in our hearts. Paul used the Macedonian churches as a powerful example—believers who, despite extreme poverty and severe trials, demonstrated overflowing joy and rich generosity. Their secret was not their circumstances but their surrender to Christ. This passage challenges us to see generosity not as a financial obligation but as a spiritual discipline and joyful response to the grace we've received through Jesus, who became poor so that we might become rich in Him.
